Yashu Kapila Got Shortlisted For “Entrepreneur of the Year” Category At WIT Summit Awards Asia 2023

Sticking to the tradition, Yashu Kapila again has made her way into the finals of WIT Awards Asia Series 2023. Hosted by DiversityQ and Information Age, Women in IT awards is aiming to celebrate dynamic women leaders who are creating history by transforming the future.  

In 2023, WIT Awards Asia have entered into their fifth year while recognizing women, allies, as well as organizations who have made some remarkable contributions to the tech environment. However, this year’s recognitions would also be shedding light on the impact that has happened during the previous years in the form of innovations and transformations, especially, when the world bank has reported women to make only around 40 percent of the global workforce.  

Over the years, WIT Awards has enabled the organizations to progress toward improved gender equity while making space for better inclusion. However, the numbers reported still highlights the lack of acceptance and representation by minority ethnicities and LGBTQ+ communities. On the other hand, McKinsey reports that companies with diversity perform better when it comes to hiring, retention, and productivity.  

Yashu Kapila, as the CEO of BugRaptors has always enabled organization to welcome diversity, creating quality products, and always keeping a check for the humane perspective, which perfectly aligns with DiversityQ’s agenda of creating safer products for the society, keeping all in consideration.  

More importantly, the award category, “Entrepreneur of the Year” is meant to acknowledge women who have shown high degree of excellence, innovation, and leadership during their career while setting examples for other women.  

On all the recognition and appreciation from the WIT team, Yashu Kapila, appreciated all the efforts that DiversityQ and Information Age are making to support the tech industry.
